Jazzed for Jazz Quartet: I was just turned on to Karrin Allyson & I have to say, she is something hot! Though NYC is now her home, she was schooled for a period of time in the Bay Area, where she’ll return with the Karrin Allyson Quartet, featuring Bruce Barth at Yoshi’s Oakland June 11 & 12 (Saturday/Sunday). Her skills are legendary within the industry & her ability to work in different languages & styles allows her such remarkable flexibility.
